Stephanie is a Lecturer in Social Work at the University of Leeds, as well as providing research consultancy services to other organisations. She has over ten years research experience and previously worked for the World Health Organization (WHO). Her work is centred around global public health with an emphasis on vulnerable populations and marginalised communities in rural and urban areas using a multi-disciplinary approach. Her research has included recording the oral histories of people with learning disabilities who lived in learning disability institutions in the U.K, producing a creative public health education programme for people with learning disabilities and developing monitoring frameworks using systematic literature reviews and focus group consultations. She teaches research methods and social work theory at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
